Amran Gowani is a former organic chemist, Wall Street analyst, and business journalist who finally figured out what he wanted to be when he grew up: author.

LEVERAGE, his debut novel, will be published in Summer 2025 by Atria, an imprint of Simon & Schuster. Amran also pens blistering humor and satire pieces on his fan favorite newsletter, FIELD RESEARCH.

When he’s not writing, Amran enjoys hiking and biking with his wonderful wife Felicia, reading comic books and playing video games with his spoiled and deeply ungrateful children, and catching cult classic films at Chicago’s legendary Music Box Theater.
