LONG BIO: Amran Gowani is a former organic chemist and financial analyst.

By leveraging his lifelong love of film, literature, and video games—and drawing upon his decade-plus of surreal and disturbing experiences across Big Pharma and Wall Street—he crafted his blistering debut novel Leverage. The book will be published by Atria, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, on August 19, 2025.
