Team Sanity
The question is simple: Are you for or against humanity?
In my forty-five years on this planet, these are the grimmest times I've experienced.
State-sponsored terrorism. Politically motivated violence. Overt racial discrimination. Breathtaking corruption.
All of these issues are amplified and exacerbated by Big Tech platforms, whose algorithms are designed to maximize "engagement" and, thus, profit.
The consequences?
Nuance is lost. Trust is eroded. Compassion is crushed. And people are dehumanized.
Cynical politicians and cowardly corporations exploit these tools to reduce the formidable problems plaguing humanity to "Us vs. Them" propositions.
It's the Whites vs. the non-Whites.
The liberals vs. the conservatives.
The Christians vs. the Jews vs. the Muslims.
This is horseshit.
These are divide and conquer tactics deployed by those in power with the express purpose of remaining in power—no matter the cost.
Don't be blinded by manufactured prejudices. We Homo sapiens are an amazingly complex species, but we're all made from the same genetic building blocks.
The real global conflict isn't about race, gender, religion, or political affiliation.
The real global conflict is between pro-human and anti-human forces.
You're either for freedom of speech and freedom of expression, or you're not.
You're either for equality of opportunity, or you're not.
You're either for the war machine, or you're not.
You're either for human rights, or you're not.
I know what my values are.
